Elizabeth Curwin joined Thomas & Solomon LLP in 2015 after graduating from the University of Virginia School of Law. Since joining the firm, Ms. Curwin has represented employees in wage and hour matters under both state and federal law, including the Fair Labor Standards Act. Ms. Curwin also has experience in litigating employment-related contract matters and advises employees on all types of workplace issues.
While in law school, Ms. Curwin served as an Executive Editor of the Journal of Law and Social Policy and participated in her law school’s Employment Law Clinic. Previously, Ms. Curwin interned for the United States Department of Justice Civil Rights Division in the Office of Special Counsel for Immigration-Related Unfair Employment Practices.
Prior to attending law school, Ms. Curwin graduated magna cum laude from the University of Maryland, where she majored in Government & Politics and Criminology & Criminal Justice.
